Protective Coatings Inspector

CBIP Protective Coatings Inspector certification permits an individual to be certified as competent to perform the specific types of inspection defined in Coatings Certification Standard

Protective Coatings Inspector is an individual who has met the experience, training, examination and competence requirements as outlined in General Requirements for Standard Certification

 

Protective Coatings Inspector Process

  1. Read the General Requirements for Standard Certification
  2. Read the Coatings Certification Standard
  3. Complete Online Application Form
  4. Present documented evidence of competency to the CBIP Approvals Committee (Refer to General Guidelines For Certification Section 10,10.1)
  5. Complete Examination Process
    (Note: A pass result is required before progressing to 5)
  6. Complete Certification Process  

 

Note: Upon successful completion of all requirements, the candidate will be issued a statement of attainment, Competence Certificate and ID card. 

Competence Certification will be issued for a one (1) year period and must be renewed annually. 

Individuals must recertify 10 yearly on the anniversary of the original certification.
